Soap and Glory Orangeasm | The Collection

I've made no secret of the fact that I adore Soap and Glory products, in fact I don't think I've posted a 'Monthly Favourites' without at least 1 item from the brand making an appearance. I am yet to try something from them that I don't love; the scents are always glorious and the skin care items are perfect for my sensitive skin. After hearing so many great things about the Orangeasm Body Wash I knew I had to pick it up, and that is where my obsession began.

Body Wash

First thing's first, look at the size of the bottle you get, and for only £6.50! I'm used to buying shower gel from Lush, and that will set me back a whopping £11.95 for the same size bottle (500g). You can often find special offers in Boots too, meaning that it's effectively only £3.25. Besides the price being amazing, the thing that really attracted me to this body wash was the smell; it's fresh, sweet and citrussy all at the same time. In the summer it was perfect, but now that autumn has arrived I find I still love to use this in the mornings, it wakes me up and lingers on the skin for hours after I've rinsed it off. You only need a few pumps to create a rich lather that glides over the body and it leaves your skin feeling clean and soft.

Body Butter

This is my favourite body butter of all time, and I'm on my second tub of it. The smell of this is even better than the body wash, it's stronger and sweeter and lasts on the skin even longer. It's a very thick cream that feels really silky and smooth but with tiny little orange beads made out of shea butter that melt into the skin as you massage the cream in. You really don't need to use a lot of this, so one tub should last you quite a while, using it 3 times a week mine lasted a good 2 months, and I really do go to town with it, using it all over. I love the feel of my skin after use, it's soft, hydrated and velvety, and doesn't feel sticky at all. The body butter doesn't ball up like some lotions if you rub it too much and the feeling lasts until you next shower, so if you use it in the evenings, as I tend to, your skin still feels and smells great the following morning.

Fragrance

I spoke about this body spray in my September Favourites, I should have really brought it up sooner than that as I've been loving it for a couple of months now, but I kept forgetting. I love that it's not floral, as most body sprays tend to be, it's just lovely and feminine without being obviously girly. If I use the body wash, the body butter and then this spray, I find that the scent lingers most of the day and they just compliment each other beautifully. To me, they do smell slightly different, but obviously all have that orange zing to them. The only thing I would change about the fragrance is the bottle, because it's not a perfume the smell doesn't last all day, meaning that you'll need to top it up, and as much as I love the glass packaging it's not very practical to carry in your bag. I'd love it if they also released a smaller version in either a strong plastic or metal bottle bottle so I could take it out with me.

I love the entire Orangeasm range, and fully intend to re-purchase every item once I run out. I really hope they introduce a body scrub in the same scent though, I feel that the collection is a bit incomplete without one. In the meantime I use the Sugar Crush body scrub, it's also in the citrus family with lime being the predominant smell, so it works well with the Orangeasm scent.
