I love a good red nail polish, I have a different favourite for each season, and Red Wine from Barry M is definitely my favourite for autumn. This is one of my picks that I featured in my 'top 10 vegan nail polish picks for autumn'.
The formula on this is unusual for Barry M Nail Paints, it took three coats to get it fully opaque where I usually only have to apply two. After the second coat it still showed bald spots so I had to apply one more thick layer. Still, my nails don't look thick or uneven now. I planned on showing you the polish on its own, without topcoat, as it's certainly shiny enough on its own, but because of the amount of coats needed I had to apply Seche Vite to speed up drying time.
Even though Red Wine is a little more work than most Nail Paints, it's totally worth it. I love the colour and it looks so much more expensive that its £2.99 price tag.
