Manicure Monday | China Glaze - Crimson

This is another polish that I featured in my 'Top 10 Vegan Nail Polish Picks for Autumn' a couple of weeks ago. It's the darkest of the lot, so dark in fact that you have to be in very good light to see a slight hint of red. Even up close it looks black, and that's what makes me love it.
China Glaze Crimson

I've always loved black nail polish, but Crimson has a very slight red/plum tinge to it, which makes it different enough to warrant owning this and other polishes quite similar, but which are either true black's or slightly more red. The photo above shows 2 coats of Crimson topped with 1 coat of Seche Vite.

The formula on this polish is typical of China Glaze, in my opinion it is very close to perfection. It glides on easily and doesn't drag or leave bald spots, which after last week's manicure is a nice change. I've had this bottle for a few months now and it still performs like new, it hasn't thickened up at all and, even around the neck of the bottle, isn't gloopy.

I've taken this photo to show you that in the right light you can see some colour, something that unfortunately I couldn't capture on my nails.

China Glaze's Crimson is available online here for £3.99 (rrp £13). what do you think of this polish?
