This has led to a rather substantial brush collection, however I'm always more than happy to try out more. Refresh Skin Therapy Eye Recovery Serum | Review

After my recent experience with facial serums (which you can read here and here), I jumped at the chance to try out a vegan eye serum, which is one skin care product I've never used before. Refresh Skin Therapy is a new brand to me, and I only posted their animal testing policy a few weeks ago, so I was eager to give the brand a try. The Eye Recovery Serum* is said to be good for dark circles, wrinkles, bags, and puffiness, they're some pretty big claims.

As much as I like nude polishes on other people, I've never been able to find the perfect one for my hands. The ends of my fingers are quite pink, but the rest of my hand is neutral in tone, so most nude polishes either look too pink or too yellow on me. Thankfully I've now found Do It Like A Dude from the Sunset Daylight Curing collection from Barry M, which I think is a great match for me.

Black nail polish has been a staple in my collection for years now, when most people can't decide on what shade to paint their nails they usually turn to a nude polish, but I almost always turn to black. I've tried out a few opaque black creme polishes over the years, but my favourite of them all has to be Liquid Leather from China Glaze.

Manicure Monday | Barry M Textured Nail Paint - Lady

Until recently I wasn't a fan of white or off-white nail polishes. I'd only use them as bases for glitter toppers or in some other way that partially covered them, but a few months back I started to really appreciate the simplicity of an all over white manicure. Lady from Barry M's Royal Textured Glitter Collection is one of my favourites.

I'm Cutting Back

Since last summer my blog schedule has been Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and while that's been great for me because I don't work full time, at the moment it's just a little too much. Without getting into too much detail, I have some things going on in my personal life that are taking up a lot of energy. I know you'll understand (because you're wonderful and always do) that I feel like I need to take some time away for the moment. I'll still be posting my Manicure Monday's and Silent Sunday's, because I really enjoy doing those and would be taking the photos anyway, but my regular Wednesday and Friday posts are going to stop for a few weeks, I just need to relieve a bit of pressure for a while. I'm sure there'll still be the odd post going up, but I won't be sticking to my strict schedule for a while.
