Manicure Monday | China Glaze - Point Me To The Party

It's not very often that I see a new collection of nail polish and just have to get my hands on at least one of them ASAP, but that was the case with the China Glaze Electric Nights 2015 collection. All of the polishes were bright and inviting, but none more so than Point Me To The Party, which is a neon glitter topper.

It's pretty rare that I feature a glitter topper polish in one of these posts, but Point Me To The Party is so unique and pretty that I just had to tell you about it. Made up of orange, blue, green and pink matte hex glitters of varying sizes, this is a polish that looks great over white, black or an equally bright summer shade. There's plenty of glitter in the bottle so no fishing was necessary and both of these photos show just one coat with no placement.

In the first photo I chose to pair it with a black polish with subtle shimmer, on my ring finger I chose to keep it matte and simple by adding a couple of neon nail studs. I really like how this looks, and although I initially thought of this as a summer only polish, I think wearing it this way makes it autumn appropriate too. In the bottom photo, I applied it over a basic white créme polish. I'm wearing top coat in both pictures and I feel it definitely benefits from that. I wouldn't say it's chunky at all, but because of the glitter it's not even, so a good self-levelling top coat will help with that.

I'm totally in love with this polish and will happily be pulling it out again throughout autumn and again next summer, it's one of my favourite topper polishes ever. I'd love to know what you think of it too.

China Glaze Point Me To The Party is available online for £4.50 (rrp £8.95).
