As much as I adore dark and vampy nail polish (as you may have gathered by now), I do like a change now and then. I've worn so many deep shades over the last couple of months that I felt like switching it up a bit, so searched through my 'not on the blog yet' stash and came across Utopia from Models Own.
Utopia is such a lovely and unique shade in my collection, I actually can't quite decide what colour it is. It has a creamy base, with hints of grey, taupe, beige and pink, which makes it a lovely neutral that would work on so many different skin tones.
The formula is really good; it's thin enough to manoeuvre but not so thin that it's watery. I did have to use three coats for this photo because it still looked slightly streaky after two. Due to using three coats I also had to use Seche Vite to speed up drying time, but if you have a while to let your nails dry naturally I don't think you'd need it for shine or to even the polish out.
What do you think of this shade, would you wear it?
P.S. I don't know how, but I accidentally managed to backdate this post yesterday, so apologies if it showed up in your Bloglovin' feed by mistake.
