After having to miss last week's Manicure Monday post, I was excited to get today's up, so had a look at my new polishes (which I posted about here) and found it rather difficult to decide on which one to wear. But I realised that I haven't featured Ciaté in any of these posts yet, so decided to go with Strictly Legal.
Strictly Legal is a deep berry-purple with a slight shimmer finish, it actually looks more shimmery in the bottle than on the nail. The formula of this polish is fantastic, and the brush from Ciate is my favourite one I've ever used. It's the perfect width for me and is really easy to control. I've used two coats in the photos topped with one coat of Seche Vite. The polish is so smooth that you certainly don't need a top coat, but I always apply it just to speed up drying time. I've chosen to pair it with China Glaze's Cleopatra on my ring finger. Cleopatra is my favourite gold glitter polish, I just wish I could capture how beautiful it is, the photos really don't do it justice.
The above photo shows two coats of Cleopatra, I think it would definitely benefit from three coats for pictures, but in real life you can't see any gaps at all.
