Black nail polish has been a staple in my collection for years now, when most people can't decide on what shade to paint their nails they usually turn to a nude polish, but I almost always turn to black. I've tried out a few opaque black creme polishes over the years, but my favourite of them all has to be Liquid Leather from China Glaze.
Liquid Leather is a perfect black creme polish that is almost opaque in one coat, but it had the odd flaw so I used two coats for this photo. It's perfectly smooth and shiny on its own, so I didn't need to apply top coat either.
The wear time I get from this polish is around two to three days before I see any tip wear, but four to five days before it's noticeable to anyone other than myself. I've never had this polish chip on me either, regardless of how long I leave it on my nails for. I've had black polishes stain my nails pretty badly before, but I don't have any issues with Liquid Leather, even without base coat.
I really do love this polish and it will continue to be my black polish of choice for the foreseeable future.
