Manicure Monday | Ciaté - Main Stage

Can you tell it's spring yet? I seem to have ditched the dark polish for now and am really enjoying wearing my brighter shades again. I really fancied wearing a bold pink polish this week, so had a look through the polishes I had in my Ciaté Mini Manor advent calendar and came up with Main Stage, which is just what I was after.

Main Stage is a gorgeous fuchsia creme polish that applies really smoothly. It's just the perfect shade when I don't want a light pink, but don't want anything too deep either, it falls perfectly in the middle. I was really impressed with the formula of this polish, two coats is all it took to make it look opaque and plump and I didn't even need to use top coat because it was perfectly smooth on its own.

The Ciaté brushes are my favourite to use, I had to do no clean up at all after application, which is extremely rare. I was able to get a lovely rounded shape at the base of my nails, and the brush picks up the perfect amount of polish each time you dip it into the bottle.

If you don't want to fork out the £9 for a Ciaté polish, Barry M's Fuchsia is a near dupe, just a tad brighter.

Ciaté Paint Pot in Main Stage is available online for £9 (full sized).

What do you think of this shade?
