As much as I obviously love a dark, vampy nail in the colder months, occasionally I fancy a bit of a change. That was the case yesterday when deciding what to paint my nails with for this post so I headed straight for my nudes and found Charlotte Street from Nails Inc.
Charlotte Street is from the Perfect Nude collection, which as you can guess is a collection of polishes that are designed to give you the 'mannequin hand' effect. I chose the lightest pink-toned of the collection as I have cool-toned skin, but it's still a tiny bit too dark for it to be a true nude. I do still really like it, but think if you're as fair as me then you'd find it to be more of a pale pink than a nude, too.
The formula of this polish was really good, it applied smoothly and didn't leave any streaks or bubbles, but I did have to use three coats for full opacity. I did find that by the third coat my nails felt rather sticky and were taking forever to dry, so I used a coat of Seche Vite to sort that out.
This is only the second polish I've used from Nails Inc. in recent years, but as with the first one I talked about, I like it so much that I'm already searching for other shades to add to my collection. If you have any favourites from the brand please let me know so I can check them out.
I've searched high and low for this shade online so I could leave you a link, but I'm sorry to say that it appears to be sold out everywhere.
