Manicure Monday | GOSH - Wild Lilac

After the über bright and sparkly polish I wore last week I thought I'd simplify my manicure this week and go for a nice, pretty créme. GOSH nail polishes are still very new to me, and when I'm trying out a new brand there are a few colours that I tend to gravitate towards, purple being one of them. Wild Lilac is the shade that caught my attention while ordering online, so that's what I'm wearing this week.

GOSH Wild Lilac

Wild Lilac is a beautiful soft lilac with strong hints of blue and subtle hints of pink, it looks almost smoky, if that makes any sense. Although it's bright enough to be perfectly suitable for summer, it's still subtle enough to not draw too much attention and be pretty understated.

I really enjoyed the formula of this polish, it applied almost creamy; It was thicker than a lot of polishes but in a very pleasant way. It didn't go overly thick or goopy and was really smooth. The dry time wasn't amazing, so in the photo I'm also wearing one coat of Seche Vite, but if you have more patience than me you probably don't need it as it was smooth and glossy on its own.

The most impressive thing about this polish was its lasting power, it held up incredibly well for a full week. That's pretty rare for me. I had some minor tip wear on my right hand but my left hand was still perfect and there were no chips in sight. I'm definitely going to be picking up some more shades from GOSH next time I'm on the Superdrug site.

GOSH nail polish in Wild Lilac is available online and from Superdrug stores nationwide for £3.99.

Have you tried anything from GOSH? I'd love some recommendations in the comments.
