I've been looking at this polish for a few months now, ever since I opened the door hiding it in my Ciaté advent calendar, and I still can't decide if I like it or not. I'm not usually too keen on peach polishes on me, I think they make my hands look dirty, but there's something about Members Only that I just can't quite make my mind up about.
As I said, Members Only is a peach polish, but it's very sheer and contains shimmer which I really don't like. It took three heavy coats to get it to look like this, and I can still see my nail line through it, something which I'm not fond of. My problem with the shimmer is that it's not obvious enough to the naked eye, and that it's kind of brown. Although the glitter does shift to some pretty colours in direct light, the majority of the time what you get is a peach polish with brown speckles. Having said all of that though I don't particularly dislike the polish, I just can't make my mind up one way or the other.
The formula was very easy to work with, it was smooth and shiny and dried relatively fast because it's pretty thin in consistency. It dried to a satin finish, which I wasn't too pleased about so I added top coat and think I definitely benefits from it.
Although I was pleased to see some spring suitable shades in my advent calendar, I'm really glad that this was only a mini size, I don't think I'm going to be reaching for it that often. I'm sure there will be some people who love this, it's just not my cup of tea.
Ciaté Paint Pot in Members Only is available online for £9 (full size).
What do you think, do you like this more than I do?
