Although I've picked up some things from ELF over the last few months (see my previous haul here), I have been waiting for a big sale to get the things I have really been looking forward to trying. Thankfully, a couple of weeks ago I received an email saying that they were having a weekend sale with 50% off everything site wide, so I took the opportunity and picked up quite a few things.
Studio Moisturising Lipsticks - £3.95 each
Having looked at a ton of swatches online, I decided to buy every shade apart from Party In The Buff. I just don't think that it'd look good on me and if I'm wearing a nude lip I usually opt for gloss anyway. The other 9 that I did get are (I'll save you 9 photo's, you can see the shades in the above pic):
Pink Minx - Unfortunately this arrived broken
Flirty & Fabulous
I don't own any liquid or cream highlighters so this is a welcome addition to my collection. I'm yet to use it, but have it ready to use in the next couple of days.
Studio Contour Brush - £3.95
Eye Refresh - £3.95
Studio Stipple Brush - £3.95
Eyelash Curler - £1.95
Cream Blush in Flirt and Heartbreaker - £6.50 each
Eyelid Primer in Sheer x 3 - £1.95 each
Waterproof Eyeliner Crayon in Navy and Champagne - £3.95 each
As you can see, I went a little overboard, but with everything half price I couldn't resist. For me, the stand out products so far are the lipsticks and the cream blushes. I'm sure there'll be a few reviews coming up in the next few weeks/months.
One thing I'm not overly happy with is the mess that some of these items arrived in. I don't know if it was the packaging or the storage that caused it, but I had to clean every single item, some were filthy. You can probably still see in some of the photo's where I haven't managed to get it all off. Thankfully they're all really well packed so it doesn't affect the product itself.
Have you tried any of these ELF products? I'd love to hear your opinions of them.
