My name's Kelly and I'm a beauty obsessed vegan from Wales, UK. Being a vegan, I stay away from anything that is tested on animals or anything that contains animal-derived ingredients, so please be assured that everything you see on this blog will be 100% cruelty-free. Buying cruelty-free products has always been important to me, and thankfully there is a plethora of options now available, both budget and high end.
I usually choose to purchase budget friendly options, so that is what you will find a lot of on this blog. I like to find bargains and often report them on my Facebook page so my readers can also take advantage of them. As well as product reviews and general beauty articles, I like to post the occasional recipe, animal testing policy and lifestyle post.

What camera do you use?
All photos taken by me will be with a Nikon D3200 with a variety of lenses.
Note: I've recently found out that Nikon both profit from and sponsor hunting. I'll continue to use my camera for as long as it works but will be looking for another brand once I'm ready to replace it.

What programme do you use to edit your photos?
I use a combination of programmes depending on what I want to do with the picture. My regular ones are Canva, Photoshop Elements 14 and Picmonkey.
Are cosmetics made in China tested on animals by law?
Only cosmetics which are to be imported into China currently fall under the law that says they have to be subject to animal testing. A product can be made there and still be cruelty-free.
Why is wool/lanolin bad?
Not all wool/lanolin is humanely taken from sheep. Whilst it's true that there are some 'good' farmers out there, the majority see the animals on their farms as money making tools. It's a tough industry to regulate and I've seen way too many harrowing videos of how people shear sheep to put me off for life.
You eat sugar don't you, isn't that filtered through animal bones?
Yes, I do eat sugar. I can't speak for the rest of the world, but here in the UK it isn't the norm for sugar to be filtered through bone char, so it is vegan. I know that in the USA some sugar is filtered this way, but there are some companies that make vegan sugar there too.
Do you think you'll venture into YouTube in the future?
Absolutely, no doubt about it, not. I really hate having my photo taken, so the thought of being on live camera is enough to give me nightmares. Even if I did somehow overcome my hatred of being on film, I still don't think it's for me.
