If you're fairly new to my blog you won't know that I was lucky enough to get a Ciaté nail polish advent calendar last December. Behind every door was a nail related surprise; Polish, glitter, transfers and gems, that's why I have so many Ciaté minis. Electronica was one of my favourites from the calendar, but I've been saving it for summer because it's so bright and perfect for the season.
Electronica is a bright and bold Barbie pink with a slight hint of coral, something which I was unable to fully pick up on camera. The formula is just as I've come to expect from Ciaté; Smooth, even, easy to control and relatively quick drying. They really are some of the best polishes I have in my collection. Unfortunately this shade was still patchy after two coats so in this photo I'm wearing three plus top coat. It dries to a satin finish, which is fine for some polishes, but because of the colour I think it looks so much nicer with a glossy top coat.
I've had this polish on my nails for four days so far and I haven't experienced any chipping or tip wear at all, besides a little regrowth it still looks as good as when I first applied it. This is one of the few shades that I'd be happy to buy a full size of when my mini bottle runs out.
Ciaté Paint Pot in Electronica is available online for £1.92.
What do you think, is this something you'd be happy to wear in the summer?
